Actress Tamanna Latest Gallery Posted: 18 Nov 2010 08:46 PM PST Studio Green has decided to postpone the release of their Siruthai, featuring Karthi and Tamanna and directed by Siva. The film which was originally slated for release in December first week has now been shifted to Pongal. Many see it as a smart move by producer K Gnanavelraja and his Studio Green. December is going to be the toughest month to get theatres in Tamil Nadu as biggies like Kamal Haasan's Manmadhan Ambu and Vijay's Kaavalan are due for release. Pongal 2011 will not have big superstar films. Siruthai is Karthi's first remake film and a pucca action oriented film in which he plays a dual role of a thief and a policeman. It is remake of hit Telugu director SS Rajamouli's Ravi Teja- Anushka film Vikramakurudu. The film has music by Vidyasagar.

The latest news about Trisha is after finishing the project "Manmandhan Ambu", she will act in the film Mankatha. Mankatha is Ajith's 50th film and Venkat Prabhu is the director of the film. Earlier, Venkat Prabhu booked Neetu Chandra as heroine for the film but now he decided to replace Neetu Chandra and Trisha got the offer. The film Mangatha is Trisha's second film with the actor Ajithkumar. Her earlier film with Ajith is Kireedam.
